Vertical Slurry Pump

When the position of the sump pump shaft is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, it is called a vertical pump. Because vertical slurry pumps are used in slurry ponds to pump slurry, the pump head must be placed below the liquid level, so it is also called a submerged slurry pump. Pumps whose non-pump head parts are also put into the slurry are called submersible slurry pumps.

Wetted parts: This series of pumps are vertical slurry pumps that work under the slurry liquid. The pump body is made of wear-resistant metal, and the impeller is made of wear-resistant metal or rubber, polyurethane or other materials. Bearing assemblies: The bearings are lubricated with grease. Depending on the level of the slurry tank, pump shafts or suction pipes of different lengths can be selected. In the case of higher water depth requirements, a custom lengthened shaft can be used. Shaft seal: Does not require any shaft seal and shaft seal water, and can work normally under conditions of insufficient suction capacity. Transmission mode: V-belt transmission and elastic coupling transmission.

This model Warman sump pump is comprised of wetted parts, the bearing assembly, the shaft seal, and the transmission. Here, we will examine each part in a bit more detail:
